Kina rensar upp i träsket

Kinas National Office for Cleaning Up Pornography and Fighting Illegal Publications - med den officiella förkortningen NOCUPFIP - har enligt kommunistpartiets tidning China Daily offentliggjort sina resultat hittills 2008:

NOCUPFIP dispatched 725,000 people to inspect 151,000 publication markets, 288,000 shops and 88,000 printing and copying enterprises. They punished 17,000 shops, 1,303 printing and copying enterprises and 1,536 websites. In total, 9,729 shops, 284 printing and copying enterprises and 108 illegal websites were closed during the first three months.

The country dealt with 5,234 cases relating to illegal publications during the January-March period, including 5,137 administrative and 24 criminal cases.

Om man inte kan lösa alla brott är problemet vanligtvis att det finns för många typer av brott, inte för dåligt med resurser.
